Our dance school was founded in July of 1986 by internationally acclaimed and world renowned  Miss Universe of Dance, also known as the ninth wonder of the world, Mr. Ramnarine "Molly" Bridgelalsingh.

He continues up to this day to be the main force behind the group's success, dances, costumes, makeup and choreography.

As the artistic director, he has brought immense success to the Vikash Dancers in all areas which have over the years given the group international recognition in many parts of the world.

The Vikash Dancers surpasses all others dancers in the western hemisphere in performance, professionalism, creditability, choreography and prestige. Our standards are mainly due to the high level of skills, efficiency and actions taken by the newly appointed manager Mahindra Rampersad who has been at the helm of the schools management for the past ten years and he  himself has become internationally known as TNT's local ShahRukh Khan, the lover boy of Indian dance in the Caribbean.

We have performed for many events, won many awards, prizes, honors and competitions that are too numerous to mention.
